I have been working at the Y since June 2013 and have been volunteering since May 2012. I am a child and youth programmer. This summer I got hired to be a summer day camp counsellor. The Y means the absolute world to me because the Y showed and taught me so many things about life. It has also built me a lot of character as well which I am really grateful for. I was accepted with seven other leaders in Simcoe County to be on council for 11 months, which includes taking a trip to Sierra Leone. When I return from this trip, I will share as much as I can with as many people as I can.
